Q. Can we buy beer for an event or special occasion?
A. Good news, yes you can. Subject to availability we ask that you give us as much notice as possible. Please contact email@example.com with dates, the beer required, estimated amount, what you want, how you want it.
Q. Do you offer MBC brewery tours?
A. Yeah, we do! A limited number of tours are available weekdays throughout the year, availability depends upon the brewery and brewers’ schedules that week. Tours need to be arranged in advance and we will deal with requests as soon as possible. Suggested group sizes are 4 through 12 people. To arrange a tour for your group, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. May 24 weekend through to Labour Day, a minimum two weeks’ notice is required.
Tours cannot be guaranteed until arranged and confirmed by us in advance and can be subject to last minute changes.
Q. Do you offer tastings?
A. We do! You can enjoy a flight of any of our draft beers or just taste one. Group tastings can be arranged in advance by contacting us at email@example.com.
Q. Can I buy your merchandise online?
A. Not at this time, but we’ll keep you posted. In the meantime, come visit our shop and tasting room at the brewery -- say hello, and pick up some great MBC gear. Subject to availability We have hats, toques, T-shirts, Sweats and maybe a hoodie or hockey shirt waiting for you!
Q. Do you sell or fill growlers?
A. We do both! Pop into our MBC Bottle Shop (open from 11 am to closing each day) all year in Wellington and we can sell you a ‘Squealer’ (32 oz.) of your favorite in-house brew. Note that the beer in these vessels doesn’t last too long, just a few days, so enjoy it while the suds are in their prime.
Q. Do you take reservations?
A. We operate on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. We do not take reservations, and sometimes there can be a short wait to be seated. However, our staff will do their best to get you seated as quickly as possible. Wellington is a busy little town on weekends, especially in the summer, but our turnover is pretty quick and we’ll do our best to find a place for you and your guests.
If you are a larger group, seating everyone together during peak times can be tough, but we’ll certainly do our best to accommodate!
Q. When are you open?
A. We are open all year round with the exception of Christmas and New Year’s Day.
Q. Do you serve food?
A. We sure do! All year round, you can enjoy Chef Neil Dowson’s delicious dishes from our kitchen, open from 11 am-9pm daily.
Q. Is Midtown family-friendly?
A. We are! Midtown was founded by two dads…you and your children are more than welcome.
Q. What if I don’t like beer?
A. We carry something for everyone, there is a selection of locally produced wines + ciders and a great line-up of classic cocktails. We can also whip you up a fun mocktail if that’s your preference.
Q. Do you carry other breweries’ beers?
A. Absolutely! We’re proud to support and showcase goods from our local brewer friends. These taps change seasonally, just ask your server and check out our beer menu for updated information.
Q. Do you offer menu items that are Gluten-free, Vegetarian or Vegan?
A. We do! If you have specific allergy concerns or sensitivities, please let our kitchen know before you order. They will let you know what can be accommodated.
Q. Are dogs allowed at the Midtown?
A. We love our dogs too, but, due to local bylaws, we are only able to host working service animals inside the brewpub or on our patio. We will gladly fetch your Fido a bowl of water if you like while he or she waits for you outside.
Q: Can I rent your space or part of the brewpub for a private event?
A. The short answer is…maybe!
Please contact Elisha@MidtownBrewingCompany.comto inquire about whether we are able to accommodate your party or event.
Q: Where is your beer sold?
A. You can find our full selection of beers and seasonal releases on tap in our brewpub and tasting room. You can also take your favourite MBC brew home in cans, bottles or squealers purchased from our Bottle Shop.
While our beers are not yet available for sale through LCBO locations in Ontario, our goods can be found in some great establishments around the province. See below…
